Choosing - Waiting - Loving
Lesson 1 - The Lesson of Choosing
- Exodus 24
- "Waiting here for us until we come back to you"
- Joshua was Chosen
If we are faithful in the little things, God will allow us to do Great things in His name!
Put on the whole armour of God - we are representing the King of Kings! We have to be equipped to serve Him!
*Don't be intimidated ----> God has chosen YOU!
Hebrews 13:20-21
- "May the God of peace... equip you with everything good for doing His will..."
Ephesians 2:10
- We are God's handiwork!
Lesson 2 - The Lesson of Waiting
*It's in the waiting that we are Refined!
- Rebellion is when people fight amongst themselves - they rebel against the leadership...
Lesson 3 - The Lesson of Loving
- Joshua sees Love
- There's no Love without Justice
- A sinless God loves a sinful people
- Love includes Justice
- Love means sacrifice... (Sacrifice is painful...but that's the God we serve!)
Jeremiah 31:3
- "I have loved you with an everlasting love."
Romans 8:38
- Nothing can separate us from God's Love
