Don't let the little things stack up that will eventually make you explode!
Keep your heart Soft!
Have faith that God's solutions are better than ours...
Cain and Abel - Genesis 4
"The Spirit of Offense" - don't allow little things to offend you and make you bitter...slowly chipping away at you...
- jealousy
- anger
- bitterness
- comparison ("comparison is the thief of joy!")
- unforgiveness
We have the choice to react based on how we Feel or what God wants for us - either way there is a consequence...will you choose good or evil?
Don't confuse God's voice with your own opinions and desires...be careful, listen carefully and be open to what HIS plans are for you!
How can we guard our hearts from bitterness?
-Proverbs 4:23-27 -
- 23 Above all else, guard your heart,
for everything you do flows from it.
24 Keep your mouth free of perversity;
keep corrupt talk far from your lips.
25 Let your eyes look straight ahead;
fix your gaze directly before you.
26 Give careful thought to the[a] paths for your feet
and be steadfast in all your ways.
27 Do not turn to the right or the left;
keep your foot from evil.
Love contributes to peace - it gives grace and patience...
As believers, we are to walk in holiness and unity!
Anger can lead to sin (hatred and rage)
It cases God's voice to get drowned out by our own voice...
- God, help us to have soft hearts that have faith in your plan for us. Help us to have forgiveness in our hearts so we can have pure hearts for you! Help us to have unity again - Love for your people, grace and compassion...in Jesus name, Amen.
